Fare Thee Well Stephen Colbert

Last week we lost the most witty, clever and informative TV personality. Stephen Colbert is leaving to take over David Letterman’s job. It will be a blow to many young people who prefer to get the news from comedians instead of major news propaganda corporations.

Is Colin Kaepernick Regressing?

Harbaughs biggest mistake was doing such a good job that the
expectations were unrealistic. Hopefully, the Niners will luck
out and get a monster trade. John Gruden was traded for two first
round picks and two second round picks.... I'm just sayin......
It was a sad weekend for Bay Area football fans. The Niners were officially eliminated from the playoffs. After three straight NFC title games this will be the first early off season since the Alex Smith era.

Since we live in the "right now" millennium, we are not allowed to have mediocre season without panic, Time to blame the Quarterback!

Police Killings

In light of another "justified" police murder here's a few fun facts.

In 2013 there were 461 recorded justifiable homicides in America. However, the true number is likely in the thousands because many police departments do not report this data, for obvious reasons.
Those who defend police homicides would say, a thousand plus people a year aint bad right?

Well, let's see how many people the police killed in other comparable countries.

Thanksgiving

I was writing a blog about Oktoberfest when I noticed it’s no longer October, then realized Oktoberfest is actually in September. Since the best American Holiday is just around the corner, I figure this will be a timelier topic.

All National holidays have their pros and cons. Many say Christmas takes the turkey, but the truth is, it doesn't hold a menorah to Thanksgiving.

Why I vote Republican......

There's really only a tiny part about her at the end.
But I couldn't think of any other Republican
that would get clicks.
Before you go cast a Republican vote this mid-term election season ask yourself this, why am I voting Republican?

*Disclaimer comes early today:
This isn't intended to insult. There are a few subtle jabs but all in good fun. Neither is it intended to make an argument for voting Democrat. There’s plenty of reasons you shouldn't vote Democrat. The majority of voters pay little to no attention to politics and are often misled or misinformed by partisan propaganda. I am just really pissed off about the copious amounts of disseminated misinformation throughout the media. I people to know what they are actually voting for.

Here’s a few serious questions you should ask yourself before you cast a vote for a Republican:

Donald Sterling

I was actually in the states for a little and sure am glad that I got to watch some American news because we really know what's important in our country. So I figure I might as well weigh in on the biggest news story of the last decade. Well, this and the missing flight.

Thank you Supreme Court

The Voter Rights act and Affirmative Action were put in place to prevent racism. If racism didn’t exist, these laws need not exist. When these laws were struck down by the Supreme Court, they were in essence declaring racism to be a non factor in our society. Isn’t it funny that a week after racism is over the Los Angeles Clippers owner, Donald Sterling, and Fox News and viewers Hero, Cliven Bundy, appear on tape proclaiming racism is alive and kicking while pimp slapping the Supreme Court.

Super Bowl Preview XLVIII, My Version

The Super Bowl is around the corner which means after Sunday we won't have much to look forward to until March Madness. There isn't a whole lot to preview so before I get to the game here’s a few of my lingering end of the season thoughts.

Vladimir Putin

Vladimir Putin allegedly stole one of Bob Kraft’s Super Bowl rings.

Weekly Rant: Marriage Prep and DMV

I had a weekend long marriage prep course for the Catholic Church. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world but the timing was horrible. I missed almost all four football games this weekend. After a weekend of preaching sacrifice, communication, prayer, yada yada yada I was beginning to resent the Lord almighty. And then it happened. Our morning session ended early and I was able to go to a local bar during lunch break to watch the second half of the Niner's game. First time I could remember my prayers being answered. Maybe there is something to this religious stuff.

Only picture I got at the Louvre before my camera ran out of battery
